I for myself find driverush pretty nice and DI isn't a problem as well. Perfect parry on wakeup that turns automatically into perfect parry when your opponent hits meaty on the other hand is massively scrubby because it makes meaties obsolete.
Additionally I think MK1 is pretty nice.
Edit: I really do not know why people these days are so soft when it comes to FIGHTING GAMES. But its everywhere. People nowadays prefer to cry instead of taking a game as it is and labbing the **** out of it like we used to do since years.
Also the mental stack when you're in the corner is out of this world, I'm still not used to it
It's a trade-off for sure, the learning curve for intermediate players is steeper. I personally agree it's oppressive. But 400k peak views at Evo 2 years in a row is hard to argue against.
Justin Wong plays a different game than you or I do. If you compare yourself to pros you are going to have a bad time. Wong isn't gonna mess up spacing like 99.9% of Bison players do. He could probably get to masters without the scissor kicks...
At least we can tell they actually managed to reach Plat and/or Diamond.
He means that the drive rush effect on screen eats your input, even on the defending side.
