I'd anticipate Bison will drop off in the next compilation.
(Bipson worst MU is Gief at 5.0 essentially even MU Giefs rise up)
Lmao at Sim vs Bipson is at 1.65. Sim being slow is like training dummy for Bipson.
That said, Everchosen is correct, next month Bibson's winrates will be considerably lower as by then more people will have figured out the match-up. So even if Akuma is top 5 material for the pros, most of us ordinary folks have figured out the match-up against ordinary Akuma players due to how popular he is and as such, his global winrate slipped below 50%.
Look at the stats for may
https://www.streetfighter.com/6/buckler/stats/dia/202405
Akuma barely gets to 52% overall winrate back in may in master/diamond and doesnt even make top 5 for most ranks below.
Bison sits AT OVER 60%!!!! winrate in Diamond and 57%!!! winrate in Masters.
He is top 2 in EVERY RANK from silver to masters!
That means that at the top level of online play, on average he has a 6:4 matchup against every character in the game!!! That is ridiculous!.
Stop coping and admit youre being carried harder than Lukes in S1
You have to also understand that this data only comes from like 6 days of Bibson being in SF6, not nearly enough time for people to figure out the match-up. Unless you're really going to go out here and argue that in less than a week we truly exhausted the understanding of ol' Vega Dictator and how to play both as and against him.
(Also Master isn't the very top yet, now if you were to argue in Legend... maybe... personally I'd wait for some tournament results though, as that is what the game gets balanced around)
The nerf Is coming and he's likely to be a top few character even post nerf.
The word you were looking for is "boring"
A win is still a win. Also, this is relative, Your misery is absolutely entertainment for Guile users.
Looking at the stats for matchups after Season 1, there was only an average of 10% spread across the board with character's win and loss rates in Masters.
This means, if you are a Master ranked player, and pick the absolute worst character in the entire game, you are, on average, only at a 5% disadvantage. And if you play the best player in the game, you are only at a 5% advantage. And 5% isn't exactly a lot.
So what matters most is not the "tier" of the character, but how comfortable you are using them. You see lots of pros playing "low-tier" characters and doing very well. You see pro players stick with a character they know even after they get nerfed into the ground, and still perform well.
Now, could Season 2 change this? Of course. But so far, the game has been kind of absurdly balanced thus far - one of the reasons it has had such a popular professional and tournament response over the last year.
