Are there hidden moves in the command list on modern controls?
I was playing Luke and just mashing out some buttons and did Quarter circle back + heavy and it popped out a move that I didn't see on the command list. Was the move supposed to be like a "hidden move" or was it likely just an oversight? Also are there any other characters that have a move not listed?

Also I checked the bindings for classic controls and didn't see it in there either so I don't know the name of the move

Modern has access to classic moves, except you don't have every attack button, ie Some characters don't have a light kick or a heavy kick. If you do the manual input ( quarter circke + button) it doesn't get the 20 % nerf as if you did the modern input. So you have to look at the classic controls and try the inputs to see what you have access to.

You literally have to select classic controls for every character to truly know their move list. :/ Akuma's Ashura Warp isn't even in his move list when using M controls.

That's a silly system.

All of the moves are in the command list. You probably missed the button for showing the motion inputs.

There aren't hidden moves in the classic list. If you didn't notice the move you saw, it just means you didn't notice it; if it exists, it's there.

there is nothing hidden. all moves are listed in the movelist. With Modern, some normals must be done by pressing the "special" key together with the attack button. Like light punch + special and that will activate a different normal.

Heres the answer, cuz everyone has no clue. Fear not, for i have an iQ higher than room temperature.

its just the heavy version of "flash knuckle."

Light, medium and heavy flash knuckke look very distinct from one another, but its just L, M and H version. There are quite some moves that change drastically depending on the version. You could make a case for counting Heavy Flash Knuckle (quarter circle back + heavy punch) being not a flash knuckle move, because its so different, but its technically the same move.

No problems.
