my dlc is missing completely

im using shared library with someone who owns the season pass and randomly today the dlc went missing and i have tried basically everything if anyone has any ideas i really want to play ed

This same thing has happened to me. I used family share to have access to Street fighter 6 and the Year 1 Ultimate pass DLC in 2023 but now family share is not sharing the Year 1 Ultimate pass DLC with my account anymore and I don't know how to fix it. I have been talking to both capcom and steam support but no luck so far.

Looking at Steam through the browser it shows the DLC, it doesn't appear in the launcher. It really is Steam's mistake.

Same. I have "Year 1 Character Pass" on my main account. The secondary account with family sharing recently stopped being able to use the DLC characters. Tried it on both my PC's and it does the same.

I've seen multiple threads on this across multiple boards. I have also learned that you cannot share DLC on the consoles.

So I'm pretty sure at this point Capcom "fixed the bug" that allowed you to share DLC and is just being quiet about it because it will feel like taking something away from a paying customer, haha.

its clearly intended lol. i think its obvious it was a mistake from capcom it worked in the first place and they "fixed" it.

people saying its intentional but this was a thing all throughout SFV's lifespan and is standard for any other game you're sharing with someone; really feels like a strange bug to me, but it is all speculation

just to put it out there the steam page regarding library share explicitly states that borrowed games come along with any DLC owned by the owner, and doesn't make note of any exceptions publishers can make

We are currently sharing the game. That's not the problem. The problem is the DLC. On the other hand, until recently we could share the DLC. We've been sharing it for months.

Most have mentioned that it first was available but starting around February 15, 2024, it became unavailable.

The settings for Family Library Sharing are set by game developers, and it is possible that the developers have dis-abled sharing for the DLC.
