Why are there so many Jamie players all of a sudden

7/10 games are Jamies. I can’t fathom why anyone would play such a lame character. Is he meta or something?

now thats interesting, cause punk is known for his cammy on SF6, but hes not shy away of trying new characters, he did try lily in a tournament way back during sf6 day 1 patch.

That depends on the person. Lame is either uncool, or reactive/turtling I think. In this case I'd say they think he's uncool. I don't like how current year his insults are, but I'll probably main him at some point anyway.

I just like his style and he's SF's first character that uses drunken fist. Also adding the breakdancing is cool to go with SF6's current theme.

Punk can play anyone with a cancelable cr. MK at a tournament level (or cr. MP in Ed’s case)

To be fair Daigo's been getting various characters to Master, over the winter he also was doing Zangief and AKI streams. I wouldn't necessarily take it as a sign he's considering picking him up for tournaments. But our boy definitely needed the buffs.

To be fair Daigo's been getting various characters to Master, over the winter he also was doing Zangief and AKI streams. I wouldn't necessarily take it as a sign he's considering picking him up for tournaments. But our boy definitely needed the buffs.

It's more about learning how the character works in different matchups from their streams, getting new ideas about how to play them and so on.
