Why people keep one and done in gold ?

I just dont get it, I try to reach plat with my Ryu and I keep get peeps who one and done Xp, lowkey really annoyed whenever it happened.

if i were to take a guess, its the randoms first fighting game, that have come from other game genres where if you lose, you lose, and if you win, you win, and thats the end of that. so they think its just like other games.

very unsportsmanlike, and very annoying to rank up with people that one and done all the time.

sometimes people one and done cause of bad connection(if its really bad), sometimes they dont like how you play, sometimes you play dirty or played unsafe and got away with robbery and they got knowledge checked and didint know how to deal with it, is enough for people to not want to rematch you.

playing M (modern) is also a way for people to not want to rematch you, cause they think its scrubby playing with modern controls,

while this is not the case here, playing polarizing characters (zangief the grappler, or guile THE zoner) is enough for people not want to rematch you.

I don't know if you can lose points in gold already, but if I'd lose to someone and know I will not beat him the next match, why should I go for it? I bought the game for my own pleasure not to cater to some random internet weirdo who wants to rank up...

He isnt able to improve.
Mostly people like him can do one thing good and if you get him he has no chance to get do nothing.
This is why they dont rematch. Lacking will to improve.

I could not care less about you unrelevant opinion.

But anyway: Even if I could not adapt and got "downloaded", that fact remains that there is no point in running against the same wall again. I'd much rather watch the replay and hit the lab than having to take another loss. I only care about my points and yours. :)
