Cant make up mind if should buy sf6 or tekken 8?
New to fighting games, and since theyre both 100$ im not sure which one I should pick up. I find tekkens graphics and theme look really good but sf6 gameplay looks much more "normal" and replayable. Any suggestions?

Try out both demos and see which one attracts you more.

I don't get what you mean by "normal" gameplay though.

Wait out a good enough sale and get them both for the price of one game~

SF has been out longer than Tekken, as such it will be going on deeper sales. I say get tekken now, if you really want something now, and keep an out out for sales for SF6.
sf6

better netcode and it works on potato pcs

tekken 8 has issues, namco massively dropped the ball with it, I can't defend incompetence

SF6, I can't justify T8 current state.

Can't believe I recommended SF6 to anyone...

Street fighter 6 all the way to me but other people feel otherwise. I'd just go with whichever franchise has more appealing to you historically.
If you've never played fighting games before, pick Tekken. You'll have fun immediatly, rather than SF6 where you need 4 years + to enjoy the game.

Most people will say as a counterargument that Tekken is in fine the harder game due to the sheer quantity of moves. While it is true that Tekken is at a high level the most difficult game, aside from the few dozens of people who can actually play at this level, the great majority of players don't understand half of the interactions on the screen and resort to mash or use the few moves they actually know. And if they can mash and have fun, you surely can.

+ music in Tekken is better

I mean, that's what Modern controls are for, you have fun immediately that way too. And Tekken has far from the most intuitive control scheme for 3D fighting games (that honour goes to Virtua Fighter, just two glorious attack buttons, punch and kick)

Tekken 8 is the only other fighting game worth playing, but it's plug central and randomly crashes for some people.

You say that as though Guilty Gear, Granblue, Melty Blood and whatever else don't exist.

I say it that way because I don't like any of those games. Their playerbases are too small and I don't like using discord.

both games are terrible balanced, but overall i think t8 is harder to learn but better at some long journey, rly depends you enjoy 2d or want more 3d game.

$100***
Sorry, but people that don't correctly type or write out USD is REALLY annoying.

tekken is a better buy for sure in my opinion but go ahead and test the demos, also depends on what type of fighting game u like.
