That's before you even factor in luck of the draw for opponents and comfort with their particular play style.
I agree on all points. But I want to know how this sort of matchmaking really works. I'm a curious person and I like going deep on things I'm interested in..
Then, to my poor habilities, comes a new warlord legend supreme master that stops my ass and I'm done. That character is getting "unbalanced" match ups until I'm down to ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and weeks later, If I am lucky, take an easier path to the next rank.
I usually get a bit mad and switch to a different character. But then I end up convincing myself that Silver is my top and I can't get higher, so I start enjoying my matches like I would if there was no other rank to climb.
Man, I hate when I feel there's a guy in front of me that I think he is 10 times better but for a strange reason is at the same rank. Then I check profile and he had two weeks off, probably burnt by bad results and has a similar win/loss ratio.
So... lol. I don't know. I feel sometimes that there's some mechanism that stops my progression, but it may be just my imagination.
Isn't there a Visible MMR? Like, your rank?
