Wasn't Bisons power supposed to be (and the sole reason for the dolls, ed and friends) that he can come back to life with the aim to posses powerful bodies? Why wouldn't he be back? Seriously from all the characters to come back from the dead he is the most suited one, why would he die?

Tbh, I think a lot of people that didn't want him back because "He's dead" or "it ruins Ryu's story" (even though Ryu's story is about overcoming himself not overcoming Bison) I think just didn't like playing against him. Which, he is very oppressive to be fair, but come on it's Bison. Of course they were going to bring him back at some point.
