Are you excited for the season 2 dlc, or disappointed?

Went to the reddit to see everyone's reactions to the dlc announcement, and I gotta say, the reception seems a bit mixed? I Personally, I wanted to see more Street Fighter characters, but Terry and Mai are cool. Seems as though the general response is pretty much "what are you doing?" just like the game director predicted though lol

I swear people online were saying that this season would have 6 dlc characters, and that after it would revert back to 4 per season. Idk where that idea came from, but people got my hopes up.

terry might be cool I guess, mai is a waste of a slot, elena is w/e, I guess urien/dudley/makoto/ibuki/sakura/ all died or something

Dubious, to say the least. Only 4 characters per year and they bring 2 guests and Elena of all characters...?

SF has the biggest casual audience to date. So it makes sense for them to capitalize on it with two guest characters. Its a smart move.

As an SNK fan since the 90s I'm happy but why Terry always ?!. They could've add Iori or Kyo we already got Terry in Fighting EX Layer and Smash Bros.

Mai it's a good add she didn't appear as guest character in alot of fighting games

Mixed. I do not dislike any of the characters chosen. But, if it is only four in a season, then guest characters should wait. Either returning characters or entirely new characters should have been chosen. Or one guest character at the most.

I'm excited. I like all 4. Especially Bison. Glad he will be out first. This was way better than Season One where they held Akuma back with some lackluster characters.

Mixed. For one I was hoping for a bit more in season2. Half of new characters being guest, just feels... uninspired? It is just 2nd year, and we get two returning characters and two guests. I suppose two guests count as new due to SF6 adaptation, but on they very surface, visual level they look so plain and uninteresting. All characters in season1 were very cool, but I am not feeling those nearly as much.

With the actual content that people who play fighting games actually care about(Actual Characters) being so far and few in between, 2 of the 4 spots being taken up by non SF characters feels bad... Like the characters I wanted to be added already had a very very very slim chance to ever be added. But now that non SF characters can take up spots there is a less than zero chance I'm going to get a 2nd character to play ever.

I think this would feel less ♥♥♥♥ if we got 6 characters a year with 2 of them being guests. But we don't live in that world.

Yea but they could have brought in someone like say... Kazuya, or hell Sub Zero, can you imagine how nutty that could be? Kof is cool don't get me wrong, but if they are trying to get money from a casual audience, you'd think they'd pick something more recognizable to the general public. I actually thought they might bring in a Darkstalker character or some other Capcom character like Dante.

I'm stoked for all of them except Mai.

Terry is an FGC legend. I'm usually against guests but hrs an exception.

I hope the rest of the seasons don't have any guests.
