Anyway. Damn sure they do it on purpose, OP. Thank all them suit ♥♥♥♥♥ for that.
That said, positively tickled that despite me not touching the mod manager since January, the British flag still hasn't returned to Cammy's back.
Fine I guess I'll try this before I complain more
A LOT of character/costume mods REQUIRE DLC content to function. It's a symbiotic relationship. They're never going to go out of their way to assist modders each update. That's the modder's responsibility.
If they truly hated mods they'd implement a system that checks your files every time you launch the game and prevent you from doing so if anything abnormal was in the install folder or a file was the wrong size etc.
They have to publicly shun them because of the TOS. It protects the integrity of the game and gives them means to go after people that do things malicious. I have yet to see Capcom sue or issue C&D over mods.
It's such a shame that those without modding knowledge i.e me are unable to update everything on our own and must rely on others with not only the necessary skills to do so but also the patience. It's either that, beg to death or accept that things always come to an end.
Luckily, some, indeed, can get fixed by ourselves when Fluffy fails to do it on it's own or if the modders abandoned everything. Not all mods, though. Sadly.
