Can you stop breaking mods every update?
GG Strive manages this.
GBFV manages this.
KOF15 manages this.

Don't be like Bethesda.

Clearly you're not running LOTS of mods. Akuma update broke the Third-Strike main theme for character select, for example.

Anyway. Damn sure they do it on purpose, OP. Thank all them suit ♥♥♥♥♥ for that.

If the suits were behind this they'd have made sure you couldn't just fix it by running things through the mod manager again.

That said, positively tickled that despite me not touching the mod manager since January, the British flag still hasn't returned to Cammy's back.

Crapcom hate mods because they often make their priced DLC's look even more insulting than they are.

I run quite a few mods and have only had to click 're-read the game archives' in the mod manager to get everything working again.

Fine I guess I'll try this before I complain more

It might be a quirk with RE engine. Do other RE engine games break the mods when they update?

I'm not sure since I don't have any other RE engine games owned. . .

I just know a lot of the good mods that came out early in SF6 have been broken by updates and have been abandoned by modders. If anyone knows how to fix em let me know so I can attempt to fix em myself.

Check my guide. They only work on full outfit overhauls, afaik. That's how I fixed the abandoned ones.

A LOT of character/costume mods REQUIRE DLC content to function. It's a symbiotic relationship. They're never going to go out of their way to assist modders each update. That's the modder's responsibility.

If they truly hated mods they'd implement a system that checks your files every time you launch the game and prevent you from doing so if anything abnormal was in the install folder or a file was the wrong size etc.

They have to publicly shun them because of the TOS. It protects the integrity of the game and gives them means to go after people that do things malicious. I have yet to see Capcom sue or issue C&D over mods.

Still works fine for me. And a previously broken mod, now somehow started working for me again lmao

That's great. Around here I had to update Fluffy not once but twice, to fix it.

It's such a shame that those without modding knowledge i.e me are unable to update everything on our own and must rely on others with not only the necessary skills to do so but also the patience. It's either that, beg to death or accept that things always come to an end.

Luckily, some, indeed, can get fixed by ourselves when Fluffy fails to do it on it's own or if the modders abandoned everything. Not all mods, though. Sadly.
my mods still working
