Master feels impossible to hit

I'm diamond 5 in NA east and there's like no one playing ranked. I hit d5 after like 2 months of the game being out then just stuck to battle hubs since I could get in more games within a shorter time frame, but now that I feel like grinding ranked again to hit master I just can't find anyone to play against. I have my settings on worldwide 4-5 bars, but when I drop it to 3-5 bars all I get are yellow wifi players.

Meanwhile in tekken 8 im bombarded by ranked opponents at strictly 4 bars, even if I choose to dodge all the wifi players. Yeah tekken is a newer game, but they both have similar player counts right now

i get a ranked match in seconds every time so its probably just your region.

You can now increase the range of matches in the matchmaking menu.

Definitely your region. I have mine restricted to 4 and up and get matches within seconds all the time

Why is it an issue in this game and not tekken?

Make sure u dont have VPN on. That stops me from being able to find matches. I'm in Australia and it takes 15 seconds in master to find games, was finding matches in diamond in seconds.

Maybe check ur ISP settings, idk

SF6 actually had the same amount of players as Tekken 8s all time peak today.

Because its a problem with SF6 matchmaking. They have allowed you to increase your search range with the patch so hopefully that helps.

May be a connection problem on your end? I'm in Boston and consistently find matches all hours of the day with characters ranked Platinum, Diamond, and Master

thats what im thinking, but it doesnt make sense that it only affects sf6 and not tekken 8
