Beats In My Head missing from SF3 Music Bundle?

Thought it was awkward seeing that Beats in my Head was missing from the 3rd Strike soundtrack bundle, especially when Elena was my main from SF3. Was thinking of a crackpot theory that Elena was going to be Season 2 DLC until I saw Elena's theme from SF4 was in the SF4 soundtrack bundle. Just wondering why that track would be missing from the bundle in particular..

Other than that, I thought the bundles covered nearly all the songs for each game. Kinda curious if anyone else find other battle themes missing from the music bundles besides that one.

Funnily enough as far as I can tell nobody knows who the voice singing the famous line even belongs to. I went digging a bit after this topic got made but the soundtrack's booklet doesn't credit her. Whosampled has nothing on it (while it has extremely thorough sample listings for other games like Jet Set Radio), and even the collective wisdom of Reddit and Google only got me other people asking the same question.

And regrettably Third Strike's composer does not use social media as far as I can tell so asking him directly is also out of the question (if he'd even recall after 25 years).

Which leads me to think it's either an old fashioned oversight or they're indeed keeping it for some future update of some description.

Elena's Theme from Ultra SF4 is slightly better than the 3rd strike version. Better production, better vocals. Probably the reason.

By that logic Alpha 1 OST shouldn't exist because there's already Alpha 2.

thats not my logic. my logic is that Capcom chose to release the better made version of the song.

Alpha 2 is "better" version of Alpha 1 soundtrack, so why would they release that too and not give Elena same treatment?


And hell if they really were aiming for the better versions they'd use clean soundtrack from console ports instead of arcade ones.

Wtf were they thinking with this usf4 remix? Original is way better.

Vocals aside they're barely alike, meanwhile there's several versions of the same theme songs for other characters for sale.

Kinda does seem like a hint that she would be coming later. I'm just glad I was able to buy all 3 of Dudley's themes.

No, it's not my logic. I don't know anything about Alpha 2/3, I never played those games.
