SEAN FOR STREET FIGHTER 6

I don't care what anyone says, Sean needs to come to SF6 back, he almost has to. Why wouldn't they bring back such an hidden potent character, they're building something up. I don't wanna hear anyone say they can't bring him back cause he was ♥♥♥♥ in 3rd strike.

First, he was broken in 2nd Impact and considered +S rank so I'm not listening to "he's bad".

Second, his whole moveset was crippled by frame data in 3rd Strike due to developers wanting to make a character that better people could use against their not as good friends, which back in 1999 was a reasonable choice to make i guess.

This is Street Fighter 6. Sean is 27(real-time canonically) and if you're telling me he's still gonna be the underbalanced F rank he was in 3rd strike(25 years ago), you're ridiculous.

He probably trained with Oro after Ken neglected their training, learned Senjutsu, and took his half his moveset. Yall old heads stay in the past acting like they can't just give Sean less frames. Forget the fact that SF6 is about modernism and the future of fighting and Sean fitting the theme, he just needs to be in this game.

Absolutely. Luke has some of his moves rn, so it would be cool if Sean turned out to be his master. I'd love to see a crazy basketball physics based move

I think Sean deserves a second chance.

Sure, he sucked in 3rd Strike, but he was a monster in 2nd Impact and possibly New Generation as well. One tornado kick in New Generation could strike up to 75% stun damage.

We haven't seen this character as a fighter in 25 years. I'd like to see how he has matured since leaving Ken. I doubt he'd be a joke character like Dan this time around.

Also, seeing Sean stand up to Laura's bullying him would be nice too.

That would make him a joke character, though. And Dan Hibiki is the ONLY joke character this franchise needs. Period.

Apart from that stupid idiot dumbass Blanka, the roster is more down to earth, overall, stupidity-wise. It's laid back. Chill. Cool.

If they could pull off those exact three words on Sean then sure, okay. Bring him back. ANOTHER shoto REALLY rubs me of the wrong way, though. Would be nice if they changed everything around him (not just appearance and personality-wise). If it was up to me he'd get a fighting style similar to Laura's, for starters.

Sean was intended as the Joker character of SF3 which is why they heavily dwarfed him in 3rd Strike. In any case, him standing up to Laura won't make him a joke character. Laura trying to tease him, and Sean responding in a Mature way would if anything, signify his growth since SF5 and 3

sean should've been the rival instead of corny aaa jamie, and for the people crying about "OMG ANOTHER SHOTO", boo hoo, shoto is the most iconic part of street fighter history, more are welcome and more will happen

besides Sean is easily the most unique shoto, no fireball, sluggish goofy unprofessional variation of DP and tatu, and plays basketball. IF capcom dont put him in this games roster is literal trash, first game to chronogically come after 3S and NO 3S characters

Did I say Luke was a joke? Did I say Sean was not busted in the first two versions? The answer to both is no. Just look at his ending in 3rd strike, and all of the nerfs he got for that game. That solidifies the developer's intentions

Never tried him in Third Strike and I'd rather see his sister back, but if he does come back, y'know, fine with me, they gave Luke an interesting enough development between V and 6, so goodness knows what kind of growth they can give Sean between Third Strike and 6.

Also not every DLC character needs to be for me, my attention is split between too many characters as is.

Sean was nothing unique in SF3 and worst shoto second to Oni. Even Dan had more character and we do not even have Sakura, who is more of a staple shoto.

Oh come on. Street Fighter is full of gonzo characters.
They're almost a tradition at this point: Dhalsim, Hakan, Necro, Twelve, Blanka, Oro, Gill
Dan is normal compared to them.

We have only 22 characters, 3 are shotos. If they add one more shoto, that should be only Sakura. Laura should return, her style is different and she's cooler. Since Sean is her brother, he could return in her story as NPC with mixed moves from her and Ken.
