"Play against the CPU via battle cabinet"

I'm sure it's a stupid question, but how do you play against the against the CPU via battle cabinet?

One of the objectives at the moment is to do that, but I always though the various battle cabinets were to play only against human opponents. Going on one, and selecting to train against the CPU while you wait at a battle cabinet doesn't unlock this goal, so clearly I'm missing something.

Can someone clear this out for me?

There are single cabbinets in the ring above the avatar battle arena, those are the ones you're looking for

He is insanely hard to beat, for me at least. I can't win a match, but winning a round doesn't even get you more points. Seems more efficient to just let him kill you quicker. Idk.
