organized crime cheating in china/hk region
I am 90% sure that there is massive group-cheating dominating ranked fights in mainland china / (hong kong) region , not just from the uncanny fighting, sure -- but tonight my xbox controller repeatedly disconnected during fights. especially when I was winning, only for the disconnect to suddenly occur and make me lose. ... and then, amazingly, when the fight is over the xbox controller immediately connects

if it is a hardware connection issue, it wouldnt repeatedly be so coincidental and perfectly timed. it is specifically timed to the fights.

I complained about this before. china / HK region is rife and wrecked with garbage who are intent on ruining the enjoyment of the game.

LMAOO

Show me a cheat that can disconnect the opponents hardware, or just admit you're delusional.

Look, buddy, we already debunked your replays last autumn, cheaters were much more rare than you were claiming back then, they are still are much more rare than you're thinking today.

i've seen a lot of cheat types in my life, but this one is in another level.
the worst offender was hackerman on arcsys games nuking the fps of streamers and causing BSOD.

but since this isn't an arcsys game, i highly doubt it. its easier to see cheaters using auto perfect parry, auto DI, auto whiff punish, auto tech and auto jump over fireballs as Broski showed on his youtube channel.

Ah ♥♥♥♥. Here we go again.

I have seen make cheaters. Who make DI 1 frame or tech 1 frame without cheat? Not even evo winner

i dunno. i also have issues with controllers disconnecting or inputs not registering that only happens in this game. however, i exclusively play single player.
Rocky McRockerson Mar 10, 2024 @ 3:12pm
I've noticed that rarely my controller will be connected but not deliver inputs to the game, but I highly doubt it's an organised crime ring selling opponent disconnect cheats tbh, seems more like a bug in the game.

you guys can gaslight me all you want, but the fact remains:

my xbox controller is disconnecting specifically during rounds -- and then immediately reconnects when the round is over. it is timing specific to the game, therefore obviously not a hardware issue or a fault with another program or driver,

BUT SPECIFIC TO SHORT ROUNDS IN RANKED MULTIPLAYER IN STREET FIGHTER 6.

... Also, considering this is HARD EVIDENCE, it opens the door to the fuller possibility that there are many and much more different 'cheats' employed. so.
Peddie Mar 10, 2024 @ 5:59pm
How is it hard evidence when we literally have someone saying in this very thread that the game disconnects their controller during single player sessions? At least test your theory by playing some matches using keyboard, or by borrowing a few different controllers from friends if you have those. This is not how scientific process works buddy. You've zero hard evidence.
Knowsome Mar 10, 2024 @ 6:08pm
curious OP, how often does this happen? sometimes? happend once? happend twice? against who? or how many people?(its not that hard to find that out since Fighting games have a history and replay system).

is your controller plugged via cable? is it wireless? have you tried other controllers?

rule of thumb OP,
if it happens once: it happens
if it happens twice: its bad luck
if it happens thrice: its a pattern and something is wrong.

It's a wireless xbox controller. Never happens any other time or with other games --, again, just specifically during rounds in ranked multiplayer, SF6. ... historically this has happened in the past, but more sporadically. Yesterday, however, (march 10, sunday evening/night,) it happened repeatedly, 5-6 times and from different players. Hence, my belief it is a gang problem, (computer game bar punks for example.)

Clearly the triads themselves don't want you getting into Master... but just wire the dang controller. Wireless will never be as reliable.

my deduction based on this is obvious, it begun as a tiny small problem that barely happend in the past, but one day it happend all the time.

OP you must understand that SF6 is an expensive game, and the odds of you finding more than 1-2 cheaters max is astronomically low. they exist sure, but odds are, they are not hunting down silver or gold players. Cause thats not how cheaters operate, cheaters like to boast their pathetic fake boosted account for everyone to see, and this game has Leaderboards , so they aim for the top. usually they are blatant, but if you find an insidious cheater, the chance is even lower.

if this happend 5-6 times as you described, in a single day with a different player everytime, then you can deduct that this problem is on your end.

we are not trying to gaslight you, because based on our experience with cheaters, we've never seen anything like that, and if these "controller disabler" cheaters were common, There would be more people posting about it here, sympathizing with you and confirming with you.

this happend with a lot of streamers on guilty gear strive, when hackerman was around, and Arcsys servers had a vunerability, that was easy to prove.

maybe your dongle is malfunctioning, maybe you need a new controller, the likelyhood of this beeing a thing is way more likely than your conclusion of "gang of cheaters on china/HK" is.

Pattern recognition and paranoia is a ♥♥♥♥♥, i will tell you that.

We're not gaslighting you, and an account with no evidence is not "hard evidence"
