is it hard to understand
...?
No. Move on.
speak for yourself please, I do not care if my opponent plays modern or classic.
A retrobit sega saturn usb controller costs 15 bucks, not even...
Honestly, and I hate to sound so elitist or anti-elitist, but to me, Modern is the equalizer between people who just want to sit down with a controller rested casually in their lap to play a videogame, and people who treat this as a life and death 10 hour a day job even though they have three viewers on Twitch and one of them is their afk mom.
This isn't even the point. Mrobson pointed out that he had to deal with projectiles using Modern Gief. The answer of "spend more money on extra gaming gear" doesn't even answer the basic issue being pointed out - Modern users lose out on key tools that make their characters work. Some characters like Luke translate quite well with Modern, but others are basically crippled, lacking all overheads and/or the tools they need to make combos flow. So, Classic users whining about Modern? All they're doing is telling on themselves for being so objectively BAD at this game, they get stomped by opponents who suffer from a damage nerf across the board AND lose half their kits. Ergo, with all due respect, get good. Because any Classic user whining about Modern is objectively not as good as they think they are. With no due respect, they suck.
But you don't have to deal with making Zangief's complicated inputs, it works much more in your favor to be able to put in instant moves with a character that does a lot of damage without having to make the inputs that he requires that are the justification for why Zangief does so much damage. You can use the classic control but if you don't use it it's because of what I'm saying
