No wonder people say reaching master rank is just "finishing the tutorial." Decided to get my Ryu on a drive to master, at Diamond 3 all Cammy's still do is jab jab spiral arrow, and yes I can counter it perfectly fine, but the fact that they're at that rank spamming that is ridiculous. This rank system is honestly worse than Apex.

Ok, so maybe I'm good? Maybe the other 90% is bad? Played with Juri and won 9 out of 10 of my placement matches, the game made me jump to Diamond 4. It's easy. I'll predict 20% are at master before the game is a year old.

As a Cammy main, I wish just doing jab jab spiral arrow was all it took to get to Master. Turns out, most people I fight HAVE AN ANSWER FOR THAT. It's almost like, le gasp, players BETTER THAN YOU know how to hold Back on the D pad, counter that, and hit literally anything in counter offense.

Sorry if I'm coming off as overly mean, but there's only so much patience I can spare for people who think that "jab jab spiral arrow" is an unbeatable strategy. I guess I missed the tournament with 1 million on the line, where the final fight came down to "The enemy Cammy hit jab jab spiral arrow, and just... there was nothing I could do to beat that. It's not fair."

I mean do your opponents not block or have parry buttons, constantly spamming jab x 3 into spiral arrow will get you crushed if they block, and it's fairly easy to PP if you spam.

Let's just be clear. Cammy is a brain dead button masher. And if you think otherwise, it's not Cammy you're looking at. You have other reasons for playing Cammy, and most of the time it's just to get those angles. I'm not talking about jump in, I'm talking about being jumped in and taken for a ride. For every game a Cammy wins, she's hanged more time in the rank below her than where she is currently at, getting touched by god knows who. And Street Fighter took note of this. Capcom's devs purposefully ensured that people would play their game for as long as possible, while refusing to do anything about balance, or anything that matters.

And do you know why? Because they know why. The people that play Cammy and Juri don't care about what's going on inside their head, when they're locked and loaded in trying to push this came down the same path as Twitch's bath and hot tub streams, so people can feel vindicated for spending 60 dollars. Until you get rid of this lowest common denominator, then Street Fighter as we know it, is essentially dead as a game. Until then you should open fightcade and support a real community.

Light-Light-Special is a basic hitconfirm literally every character should be using at all points of skill level. At close ranges, or after a cross up, it's 3-4 lights, but there's a lot of push back on hit in this game, so 2xLight attacks is usually the safe limit for when you've interrupted a pressure string.

What a silly complaint. If you want to complain about jabs, at least complain about something like how they can auto correct anti air significantly more things in SF6 than most other Capcom titles.
