This is the most broken fighter
I hate making posts like this but just wow... Theres like 5 insanely broken characters everyone is aware of yet capcom refuses to balance patch the game. This is probably falling on deaf ears but you should all probably move to Tekken 8 until capcom fixes there broken game. The best way to make them fix the game is by telling them to f off and playing another fighter until they fix it.

Another 6 months for a balance patch is ridiculous I remember people giving MK11 crap because it took them 2 months to fix Sheeva. This game taking a year to fix 5 more broken characters than Sheeva.

I'm not saying I like Tekken or Street Fighter better, I like both games for different reasons but the balance issues in SF6 is a absolute joke.

That's mostly ranked system, I was hard stuck Super Gold in SF5 with Akira and yet I climbed to master in like 300 games here.

Losing against a lower rank in SF5 was extremely punishing, and here you always lose 40 points max while always getting more for winning.
That is def a factor but I am having waaay more trouble ranking AKI than Juri in 6 lol

The ranking system is definetly screwy in SF6 at launch it put my Manon Diamond (no way I was diamond just vsed crap players) I purposely lose like 200 matches to go to plat 1 and earn Diamond I just recently earned her Diamond back a few weeks ago.

That aside I use alot of different characters so maybe its more evident for me who is broken than people who only play 1 character. There are certain things qwith Juri I am immediatly like wow that makes the game alot easier lol as oppose to Manon or Aki

AKI is also considered to be like, bottom 3. Poor girl needs help bad. There's a reason not a single AKI player managed to qualify for Capcom Cup. Only a few even made it to top 8 at all. Which is why I say that the buffing the bottom 5 is a more pressing issue than nerfing the top 5.

I don't believe much in tier lists because depending ont he region they are different, but AKI is definitely hard to use lol

They REALLY need to fix Manon's medals (remove them all when a next round starts) plus Juri's and Cammy's grab range. Maybe Deejay Drive Rush speed. That's it. Everything else is fine.
Okay, then make it 3 stacks so I can do max damage in the very first round.
You have good anti-air, lots of ways to skip neutral to go straight in for the kill and good corner carry, already but sure. Seems fair.

If it was up to me, though, things would be WAY different for her.

I'd buff Manon with a taunt, for starters. A Karin like laugh (but less loud and pushy, since she seems more introvert despite all that spotlight).

The first time you do it in a round the command grab would deal 15% more damage. The second time, 30% more damage and the third time, 45% more damage. They would only last in a single round i.e wouldn't be carried over to the next one and wouldn't stack (so you wouldn't be able to taunt three times in a row to get 60% from the get go). A command grab would have to be used straigth after a taunt. Kinda like that Ryu's hadouken charge.

Would make for a better grappler experience, too, for it would force the neutral game (usually you want to stay away from them). And, since she's a judoka, the gameplay would be more technical, thanks to that.

Trouble is, she's a ballerina, first and foremost and a judoka, second. I'd switch that.

That sounds about right then. Ultra Gold in SFV was the top 10% of players, Master in SF6 is top 7% or so. So it's not as much of a disparity as you seem to think it is.

As a Manon player aswell I don't mind if they get rid of her medals rarely use her command throws because most people can dodge them and get a free combo.

Yeah of course but the main issue of the post is the insane idea the game only needs a balance patch once a year. I can tell you why there doing it. They are to busy working on avatar microtransactions.
This is definitely salt fueled. As far as a launch goes, the game has started in a great spot. Many characters have proven to show their viability. Lower tier characters have won smaller tournaments and still performed well in bigger ones. Characters perceived to be insanely strong early on have fallen off. I’ve seen nine characters listed as top 5 contenders. That’s pretty good considering a few months ago Ken/Luke/JP were considered a tier of their own

I get 1 patch a year is annoying, I think 2 a year is ideal. But I’d much rather have that than multiple patches a year based on kneejerk reactions a la NRS. If Capcom followed this philosophy, Honda would have been nerfed immediately. Despite claims that the meta has stagnated, a lot has happened since release

Of course its salt fueled, it is annoying fighting 200 kens in a row because he is broken. Watch all the kens scramble when the balance patch hits.

The issue a lack of balance patches makes is everyone using the 3 good characters. A reasonable ask for a minor balance patch is like 3 months and 1 major every year.

People love to hate on SFV but even that game was throwing balance patches out every 3-4 months and it improved the game alot.

This SF6 team seems to be more focused on avatar costumes than improving the actual game. The launch was great but the months after have been a ♥♥♥♥ show. Costume 3 took a insane amount of time but we get fake avatar content like its real content at the low price of 20 dollars per avatar outfit.

Starting season 3, SFV did 2 major balance patches a year. There was an emergency patch in season 2 because of how much of a mess it was, far worse than what we have now. But the regular mid-season patch started with season 3.

Overtuned as they are, I’ll gladly fight JP/Luke/Ken over season 3 Abigail

Did you google it because there were definitely balance patches in season 1 and 2 lol alot of people are calling out broken stuff in SF6 but everyone seems to like putting there fingers in there ears and go LALALALALA. Even the pros have been calling JP broken for example. Of course they have to save face and then pretend his not by offering a short 10 step guide on just how to get near JP... But his not broken.

After using the 10 step guide to get in on the character who is not broken once you are in its not like he sucks at close range, infact he is better than alot of characters there aswell. But not broken.

thats why I dont play the game anymore, only this ♥♥♥♥ 5 characters :D sick of it
I wonder what "insanely broken" means to you.

JP requires a 10 step guide to even get in on if new and Ken has everything for no reason. That.

A little more in depth for Ken he has a prime target combo you can spam all day and don't need to worry about anything.
