Battle hub is suppose to mimic an arcade, where you would have no clue how good your oppenent is until you actually play them, if you want match making you gotta play ranked or casuals. Also, who actually checks peoples profiles before playing them. I get this all the time in the hub, all I do is just check if a seat is open and if the connection is good, then if I end up playing someone who isn't at my skill level, I will let them decide if they want to rematch. It's not the difficult lol
As Gleap said, prepare for more master players popping up because earning it is a relatively easy task in this game
Why do people always say this when such a small percentage is in masters?
It's clearly not easy for the majority lol
It's also the people who generally make up more or the hours played.
There's going to be a lot of them. It might not be easy to hit master, but in comparable games it's usually harder to hit comparable ranks.
Don't auto join, instead, hit choose server, then pick you region then scroll down to the bottom.
Yellow icon (41-50ish) are beginner, red and white icon (31-40ish) are intermediate. Pick the one that's most populated that will let you join.
It's an inevitable part of every FG that the highest rank will become more populated over time. The only difference is how quickly that number rises. SF6's master rank is definitely filling up faster than most other equivalents in other games. The population and skill difference in master is big enough that it literally has its own ranking system within it
Sounds like he wants to be a Smurf or beat up on people much, much worse than him.
Sounds like a jerk move to me.
It's not as straight forward as just playing, Yeah you can do it with a win rate of 40% but it will take like 10000000 games lol And not to mention, as you rank up, you will have to adjust to the higher ranks, so you do have to improve to rank up. I mean it may be easier then SFV but this is a different game so that comparison doesn't really work. I'm not even saying it is super hard to get there, but "hard" is subjective, and if it's at 10% now that means it's at 10% which means the majority is not in master. Of course as the game goes on more people will get there, but until it's over 50% of the playerbase in master I think we can all agree it's not "easy" for the average player to get there. Do the math of what it would take to get to master with a 40% win rate, it's not quick lol A 40% win rate in gold is different then a 40% win rate in Diamond. If you are in gold with a 40% win rate, please tell me how long it would take to just "grind" to master
My point is that if OP hates running into master players in battle hub, he has to either play ranked or learn to deal with it. Because there's always gonna be master players that pop up in there
