Absurd!
Honor that loss. Study the replay and find out what that Cammy did better than you. Replicate the combos and utilize them if they are that "insane". Combos are just muscle memory. Her hardest trick is to consistently tkcs hitconfirm, but maybe that is just me...
6 mistakes at 13 seconds in
Just random raw DI's and DP's at 22 seconds in.
You had the round at 46 seconds but threw early instead of meaty and gave it away for free.
His biggest combo was LP LP LK spiral arrow for 14%. His highest damage anything was throwing you during parry lol.
Game 2 we got 1 combo here, dI punish counter, medium punch, heavy kick, jumping hk OD dive kick, level 2 super spiral arrow, OD DP. That's a good one. 33% he probably got it off YouTube or a wiki.
He burnt himself out doing it and it was only slightly higher damage than a raw throw. You ate 3 throws after it for 44% of your health.
That punish counter DI you landed then wiffed super hurt you a lot in the last round. Instead of taking the life lead and putting him in burnout you ate his wakeup DP.
Then he just raw level 3's for no reason at all!?
He was just ever so slightly better than you and knew 1 combo. Zero percent chance it's a Smurf lol. He's probably played a couple fighting games before because his inputs were decent but definitely not street fighter 6 because his ideas were terrible.
I met a scumbag Vega on SFV ranked, last month, that pretty much double perfected me at the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ first league.
Mf had NEVER lost a SINGLE match and got to the equivalent of Platinum (from the equivalent of Rookie) in a single day. Then they started to lose some but still had like 99% w/l ratio. Disgusting.
It's always a pleasure to see someone who knows what they're talking about. Thank you for taking time and making the effort to actually look up the match, like the rest of us know we *should* do but are too lazy to follow up on.
Except for my own....... reviewing those is just traumatic lol
I strongly disagree, clearly. I'm pretty sure I was just being toyed with other than right after I took the first round in the second game.
Someone that good after only 24 minutes in ranked never should have been matched against me. I don't care if it was their "first" time playing.
I struggle to combo into a super because the window is too small to me. I also get thrown a lot despite my best efforts and following up on a punish is yolo for me since it happens so infrequently I don't get much practice with it.
I'd just like to encounter more fair fights more often and not a bunch of accounts with just a few hours on them that are way better than me as frequently as I do.
I'm not nearly as upset when someone with way more playtime runs into me on ranked and wins.
First, sorry for nerdig around,
Second, I am also just a mediocre Cammy, so if someone knows it better, please educate me.
This is actually not optimal, canceling the airborne level 2 from OD Canon Strike not only gives significantly less damage than the version with raw airborne level 2, it also costs more Drive meter. Doing the level2 without the OD CS crutch is much harder though since the timing is very tight. I also think the jumping hk is wrong here, since it shouldn't be able to connect, a jumping mp is the go to button there, since you can airborne combo off of it.
The sheer quantity of terrible decisions and mistakes he made would prevent him from even hanging mid platinum and platinum players are hard bad.
He's clearly got some experience in other games or his execution wouldn't be on point for the single combo he knows but he has zero system mechanics or frame knowledge and only 1 combo. That's exactly what I would expect from a gold tier/ maybe platinum 1 player who got the game for Christmas.
Although judging from his play I do think he'll probably be much better in two weeks time since he comes from a fighting game background and just needs to develop his knowledge.
game time is also a really poor metric to judge competency by, I've seen players hard stuck diamond or lower with 1,200 hours. I hit master with 160, Sajam hit master with like 8. Hours mean nothing.
It would have been a death sentence against a stronger player even if it was optimal.
His execution was quite good for his level it was his knowledge that was awful and that's one example of many.
