New characters since SFIV

How are you satisfied with new characters since the rebirth of Street Fighter (SFIV)?
Do you find them enjoying to play and play against? Or you hate their guts and the sheer fact they exist, similarly to Honda, Blanka and Dhalsim?

The vast majority are just mid and forgettable - abel, falke, ed, luke, every new character added in sf6... these characters are bland, unoriginal, and lacking in personality. They often feel like tamer, more boring versions of characters that came before them. (compare jamie to yun/yang, or ed to balrog, or JP to M. Bison)

Falke, I really expected great character. Out of all newcomers in last three SF games, she disappointed me the most.

Not in the mood to address every single character right now but Kimberly and Jamie were the worst additions to the current game. They got some cool moves and all but their attitude really rubs me off the wrong way.

I'd be pissed if they waste slots by placing Guy and Ibuki, later on, because Kimberly already ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stole everything from them, gameplay-wise, by the way. That's why she shouldn't even exist, to begin with.

And they even have the audacity to add a "i Am VeRy SmArT" back story for such an idiot.

As for Jamie, if the way the character behaves on gameplay isn't enough proof of what kind of person you're dealing with just watch the intro and outro of his Arcade story to get a rough idea. Mf is just an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that copes for his lack of self-esteem. Luke did nothing wrong.

I kind of like Jamie, just because I loved Legend of Drunken Master. But yeah, Kimberly is bleeping annoying.

not really. elena is super hot, but i would never want her to come back without being completely reworked from how lame she was in sf4... while being extremely cute is a nice bonus, the main reason i liked menat is because of her exceptionally unique and enjoyable gameplay. according to the stats i'm in the minority, because she was one of the least played characters in sf5; but i believe that's because she was extremely difficult to use effectively, not because people didn't like the gameplay concept overall.

as someone who enjoys difficult characters, she was right up my alley. sf6 has no comparable alternative.

I hate that character ever since her introduction. Everything about her is annoying. Her voice, gameplay, design, the fact Capcom is constantly push her story to intervene in Chun's and Cammy's, everything.

Funnily enough I really like her in the "You've got this, Juri!" comics they've been uploading on social media, and running in the Battle Hub on the big screen. Just this gremlin that can't do much gremlining because life keeps dunking on her. It makes her a scrappy underdog that is far funnier and easier to root for than the canonical Juri. I wouldn't even be opposed to them doing a premium cosmetic that replaces all of her voice lines and animations to more fit the "You've got this!" Juri.

I hate Honda, Blanka, and Dhalsim very very much. They are the holy trinity of roster hogging, always among the least played, but always stealing space in every single Street Fighter game.

About newcomers, I WISH THEY CAME BACK. Crimson Viper from SF4, Menat, Falke, FemSeth, Kolin, Zeku, G, Laura, Lucia from SFV... ANY, and I mean ANY of those would be better than Honda, Blanka, and Dhalsim. Only the absolute scumbags that mains these three characters like them, everyone else hate them, and specially hate fighting against them.

Only JP is, lets say, questionable design wise.
