To be fair Sean was great in New Generation, but then 3rd Strike nerfed him into the ground. Honestly a shame Capcom squandered his potential: As great as Laura is I feel Sean being Ken's student was a good concept, kind of similar to how Sakura looks up to Ryu (except less gimmicky as Sean actually got proper training).
