Will be more affordable one day, but not in the near future, maybe 3 years later lol
Does amount of Fighter Coins vary by region as well, cause my in game screen says 610 for the second tier? Still not a great price and anyone getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over by a lack of regional pricing (or by living in Japan and having a time limit on your coins for some unknown reason) has my sympathy, but just trying to make sure the information being put out there is accurate.
It not being affected by Steam Sales and also there being very very little reason for Capcom to sell a Super/Hyper/Ultra edition at any point with the way WT and even their in game shops are set up to be "Game as a Live Service" don't give me much hope for later discounts either. Especially as I can't see them upgrading everyone "for free" and don't even know if Capcom would have any interest in making saves transfer over (even though it'd screw over any WT related unlocks for people who have them), now that they're back to feeling like they're on top of the food chain again.
If you need 3 years to earn 5 bucks, man, that's a sad situation you're in !
-Simple Math: A full fledged character with chara designing, Modeling, texturing, rigging. animating, making cut scenes, 2D Artworks, coding, balancing and voice acting=7$
-A costume=6$
They don't sell 300 FC for 5 bucks.
Every costume should be a dollar or acquired together via a bundle for 20. That's not much when translated to the majority of worldwide economies, either. It's fair af and they would swim in cash, anyway, because it's affordable.
They should've made them available for like 10-20k kudos/tickets, as well, to those who can bear the grind.
Disgusting af. Capcom only gets away because all their games are polished. Let's see if their customers will still eat ♥♥♥♥ up when their games starts getting involved with crypto, NFT's and gacha like Square-Enix and Konami.
