No wonder they didn't announce the pricing ahead of time, lmao

Well, guess I'll just get Manon and call it a day, I'm disappointed there's no way to get them bundled for a decent price.

Also i feel like they introduced opponent costumes due to Blanka Chan existing, I'm just sure of it.

Part of costumes is showing others what you think is funny/cool/whatever... it's weird letting people go around that.

Technically $10 for a single one, since you can't buy anything for the actual amount thanks to Capcom's scummy currency scheme.

One would think they would get a lot more people buying in if they priced them at 250 or less, so the lowest currency bundle of $5 covered it. Pure predatory garbage, here.

MHW had all dlc on store and you could just buy whatever you wanted. Much better system than this coin bs. Its even worse when you consider regional pricing, which doesnt apply because f--- the players i guess

unfair comparison. Monster Hunter World is a massive franchise for Capcom. Street Fighter is a fighting game which is a niche genre. To get money, SF6 has to do different monetization, than MHW.

The outfits are cosmetic. no one needs the outfits. they're a luxury item.

Yep. It's actually $10 which is ridiculous. I hate how it's always the same story with Capcom, every time they climb back to the top the just feel like nosediving to the bottom with their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC practices.

welp, uninstall it is

Businesses like this know what they're doing. I'm sure they have all sorts of statistics to figure their pricing and everything else is a good calculation/estimation for maximum profit. This is what happens when a company gets too powerful.

You are obviously wrong since they are not the same hence not priced the same..?
I mean both are overpriced since you need to spend at least 10 to get 1 outfit. Also it was far cheaper to get costumes back in sf4 and sf5.

They have no idea what they are doing, they are relying on the "whales" that were probably so dumb that they already spent 100s in World Tour garbage.

However, this is not maximizing profits or keeping majority of customers happy.

No this is definitely a calculated decision lmao, the majority of their audience is (probably) either japanese or western who can more than afford this. Not only that but since you spent 10 bucks and have surplus over, well just shell another 5 bucks for another outfit, and now they've got extra out of you

5 bucks is like 2 cans of Red Bull. Even though the price is higher than i thought most people can easily drop this cash for the outfits, and they will, and they know that

Companies don't do this for no reason. I doubt literally every market psychologist and commercial worker out there is wrong and you're the one who knows what reels the cash in

Like, it's a sad situation yeah, bordering sociopathy since idk how i would mentally cope if i was the one who had to make the decision of pricing the items in a predatory manner, but it is what it is man. This was definitely a calculated decision based on their own data

I don't know how anyone could act confident that business-wise you're certain capcom did it wrong. Yeah it's taking advantage and being ridiculous and all but that isn't the question. Based on the amount of money at stake when deciding pricing for these things, you bet your ass tons of people do research and lots of work to make data-backed decisions.

With so much money on the line, I don't know, I'm gonna say it's likely the bazillion dollar scam artist company has a 'good' business model. A better model than us randomly saying it's bad because it's mean.

Remember when candy crush started this bull**** and people acted like it's no big deal? lol
