If it did however you could do that and just share the game with yourself on that account.
Just make a new steam account, log in on the same PC link the account to your main. You will need to make and link a new capcom ID to all the new accounts but it wont mess up your main and pretty much gives you a fresh account to mess with on.
Family share is Steam service, not Capcom service 🐕🦺
They would have to register a specific copy to the specific steam ID and deal with users losing their accounts, etc, a lot of extra effort and maintenance for very little benefit.
