SF became 3D once with Ex series and they were amazing games.
The EX games weren't really on a 3D plane. The plane you fought on might change with the background but gameplay-wise, it still was completely a 2D game like all the other SF games are
It's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 21st century man. Get with the times or find a retirement home that's right for you.
Though since I'm leaving a comment here, I guess I still sat on the hook in a sense.
They play very differently. I prefer 2D because the fights are visually more stylish I think, it's more straight forward.
