no tattoo female characters

I just found there isn't any tattoo characters in SF6 (except Luke), hoping to see new Cyberpunk characters to stir up the spice

Tattoos in Japan are pretty controversial that's probably why.
They're quite heavily tied to the Yakuza and other criminals.

If anything it's edgier not to have tattoos at this point.

It's true lol. Just like in the past 10 years in the US with the Hipster boom its like everyone and their mother has decided its cool to tattoo the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crap all over themselves because it's ironic or something.

I live in a college town and the amount of cringe tattoos is insane. It's like - there's no way you didn't wake up the next day and immediately regret that.

I would personally say that if tattoos are good for a character design or not depends on how it's implemented and/or the reason behind said tattoos.
