AKI's poison can really just be ignored

in the character preview/guide thing, they talk up her poison and how you can punish characters who get desperate to land a hit to remove it. but thats just not reality. it does so little damage and goes away on its own so fast its honestly best just to ignore it. the poison is really just an install for her combos. stuff like the poison puddle are only best avoided so you don't just give her the install for free. the damage can't even kill

I think its quite annoying tbh. She has to get poison applied once and then you have to go get her. Also it accumulates during the match. Landing a couple of hits more or less as an equivalent to all poison over one round, does make a difference imo.

the poison tick damage is pretty negligible, it does get scary when you're in burnout and close to a chip KO but that's it, it's mainly there for her to trigger toxic blossom and combo off it.

Her critical art does insane damage and the poison that follows on top is overkill af. Saved my ass from losing many matches.

It can't be ignored. The damage over time isn't a lot but it adds up over the course of a match if you're just constantly allowing yourself to get poisoned.

But even worse AKI's conversions become a lot more powerful when you're poisoned. You really don't want to be poisoned when she lands a hit on you.
