I played Tekken 2 and 3 extensively on PS1, and then tried T7 more recently. It never really clicked for me. I just prefer 2D fighters.

The impressions from the most recent beta are the netcode sucks. That kind of means the games dead on arrival to me.

I probably will if they have a Tekken Force mode, but I'll come back to this if I can do World Tour mode for a new game+

Why would I care about some random youtuber. Max is not a trustworthy source. Unlike these polls with many testers.

That poll has 238 votes with 136 listing it as decent or worse. That's within an isolated community of FGC enthusiasts known for knowing nothing that you have to beg the admins on twitter to join.

even just comparing the outlying categories 51 said great 57 said disappointing or worse.

25% of the player base listed there even say less than 60% of the matches played good. That's a god awful ratio for an isolated beta test of only the most enthusiastic players.

9/10 matches being good is already better than sf6's netcode.

I don't even like max. More a sajam man myself. His video just got algo'd at me.

There aren't even 285 votes on that segment of that poll there's 242 in total. You just suck at interpreting results.

Like pitch whatever biased takes you like the major take aways from the majority of the community are the netcode sucks and the problems aren't consistently just tied to latency implying some level of engine issues. Issues are consistent from both high end PC's and PS5 so neither platform serves as a solution.

These are the same issues reported by an overwhelming number of uses from the first beta.

You only complain about sourcing but your own source says it runs like crap way too often to be okay. Pick a source you like they are all in agreement.

I'd rather the netcode be good, but there's nothing indicating it is 25% of the most dedicated player base having the exact same issues indicates an unacceptable level of problems.

as far as street fighter netcode goes you are just being stupid. There's no actual debate, it is best in class.

Tekken player here since old Tekken 5 console, played every Tekken since then and tried every online. Tekken 8's online is worse than Tag 2 and Tekken 7's. I even tried during the second beta, running a match with two PC next to each other, same router, good connection, and I still have 1 frame of rollback and it feels laggy.
I don't even want to talk about frame rate dropping all over the place despite having good specs on both PCs.

The price of the game is twice as much as SF. T8 just isn't worth that kind of money. The girl advertising coffee is cool, as is Asuka, but the rest of the character list is just boring. And it pisses me off that they're going to make me buy Anna again as a DLC.
