Black screen upon startup.

Hi Guys i have already followed all the steps under the troubleshooting guide. Tried emailing capcom but i do not get a reply so hopefully you guys can help.

Upon launching my game i am met with the screen staying black and not going into the street fighter logo. This issue has gotten so bad i reset my computer to see if that was the issue but the problem persists. Please see an example video below and please help. I just wanna play the game man

I have disabled cloud saves. Steam overlay I have just tried disabling and still not fixed. thanks for the advice though. I will see if I can find anything like that for other re engine games

That's very strange. I've had a black screen before, but only on startup with no logos showing. Maybe a resolution problem preventing display?

I'm have same problem with SF6 and Resident Evil 4, both use to run with no problem. Haven't found solution yet.......

update:unplugged stick and game started. strange issue.

I had the same issue as you. I had to "Check for updates" to get a new Windows Update. There was also an optional security update that I installed.

someone pls find a solution.. the game was working perfectly for months.. i took a break after rashid and wanted to come back for aki.. but now i can not play anymore

I feel you. Its horrible paying 60 bucks for a game and not being able to play it probably due to denuvo

I played the game for 113 hours without an issue. It most have been the last patch that broke it

I have a theory, but it's not Denuvo. Have you tried installing a video codec pack? I just started SF6 to test. I think the startup is a short movie before the menu displays. I use K-lite codec pack. This is an issue with other Re Engine games.

The second thing I would try if that doesn't work is roll back GPU drivers to an older version. Use DDU to uninstall the newer ones.

there was a new driver with the cyberpunk release a few days ago.. maybe that broke sf6 :(

That may be part of it. Possibly a combo of the game update + whatevs.

I fixed it.. It took me all day.. what a pain..
There was a new windows 10 update today. I didn't get the notification so I had to check manually.

Update! it has been fixed! The legends at capcom support told me it was a broken patch file that was causing the issue and low and behold it fixed it? im not sure what caused it to remain broken as i have reinstalled the game a few times but i dont question them. Thank you everyone for the advice
