What is best GPU for SF6? Gefore or Radeon?
Hello everyone,

actually im using 1080 ti with 3-4 ms rendering laytency in middle option

anyhow i wanna upgrade my GPU

but i so confuse between , NVIDIA 4070 , RX 7800

for us render latency is very important,

Nvidia have Reflex technic, now i use actually ôr maybe not

and Radeon have Anti-lag, but i heard Anti lag isnt efficace like Nvidia.

If u have already 4070 or rx 6800XT , 7800XT or 7700XT let me know your render latency,

Thank you very much

LOVE AND PEACE FOR US

The following review claims that antilag+ is superior:

Following thread, since curious too

SF6 isn’t demanding, a toaster can run it

Nvidia cards are better but more expensive, pick your poison

the gpu thats better for pc gaming in general is radeon. nvidia might have good cards but theyre getting close to activision tier in terms of scumminess. went from a 1070 to a 1080 to a 4070 returned the 4070 got a 6950 xt.

No they are not better stop talking about something you have zero clues about!

You mean AMD cards that have inferior drivers, higher power draws, inferior tech, dlss is way better than fsr, worst ray tracing capabilities amongst countless other inferiorities I can’t be bothered to mention

AMD cards are cheaper for a good reason because if they were priced the same as Nvidias nobody would buy them

If you just need a gpu for sf6, any budget card will do, it’s not a demanding game

I dont like nvidias marketing, their low vram policy and their prices, but saying a 4090 is inferior to anything amd can offer is just cope.

Vram only really became an ‘issue’ because of the volume of terribly optimised Pc ports that were released this year. A lot of AMD shill YouTubers then started pushing this vram agenda because some nvidia cards had less

The reality is 12gbs is more than enough for 1440p, 16 which is on a lot of mid tier AMD cards really is overkill when a developer bothers to optimise a game properly

If people had better standards and stopped buying crap pc ports then this issue would have been moot from the start.

Yes nvidia cards are way too expensive, that is unquestionable, but at the same time what money you can save on an AMD equivalent you can easily end up paying back on the higher power draws usually found on their cards

The 7800 uses 63 watts more power than a 4070, worth taking into consideration if the electricity bill is an issue

NV drivers are using the same interface they used in 2004, and WINDOWS 9x debuting on the Geforce 6000 series.

NV drivers purposefully break older games NV doesn't care about if they can gain a speed hack in a newer more relevant game especially if that game is being benchmarked by the media.

NV drivers are CRAP, AMD goes out of their way to keep older games working in their drivers, and their drivers have more features, now then NV, basically afterburner BUILT in. Where NV went out of thier way to remove the OC features from their drivers years ago it used to be called coolbits.

NV does not have better drivers. Even in the early days of the TNT\Geforce1\2 their drivers were a crashfest, as much as ATI's were.

AMD drivers have been notorious for instability. Nvidia have always had more stable drivers, they frequently update them and are less buggy. I'm had nothing but issues with AMD drivers in the past, one of the main reasons I don't like their cards

This is exactly, why vram IS an issue. GPUs are allocating borderline 15-16GB in latest titles like forspoken, RE4 etc. @4K resolution + max settings and its only a bit less in 1080p, probably due to ♥♥♥♥ optimization. Usage of vram @12gb is no problem if settings are high/ultra. Buying a 8-12 GB vram card today is asking for problems yesterday. Dont get me wrong, AMD has its own issues no questions, but nvidia cuts corners on purpose to ensure sales tomorrow. Customers mustn't like that.

Man, AMD drivers are ♥♥♥♥ when a new generation of gpus is released. The "amd drivers are like wine" talk is based on exactly that

I've got a 7900XTX at a price of 4070Ti recently (when counting free Starfield Premium gift code). It runs fine on AMD.

I have no idea how to measure render latency, but I have a 6800XT and I run 4k, max setting and never dip below 60fps. I don't notice any stutter or lag, so i guess its fine

yeah, yesterday I had to reinstall windows because the new amd drivers bascially bricked my operating system and blue screened me. I installed the same exact driver on new windows and no problem
