Maybe they should realize that many people simply like Ryu as the poster boy.
I understand that they want to be able to continue the series after Ryu ages out, they should examine how anime and manga handles passing the torch, because these attempts by Capcom isn't working.
Yeah! Ryu is much more cooler. :)
All the SF6 footage so far has made his character more interesting than it was in SFV. Makes sense if he wasn't originally planned to be in SFV anyway
What people forget is Luke isn't replacing Ryu as the overarching main character. Alex was plastered all over SF3's marketing too. They'll never get rid of Ryu
Changing the main character is a pretty normal thing to do in fighting games. Most franchises have done this at least once

Worst they did was Alex. What boring to play character compared to Ken and Ryu.
If Luke's arrogant, then Ken is just plain insufferable.
I enjoy fighting game characters that are just plain hyped to be there. And it's not like Ryu is going anywhere. He's now the Master instead of the Wandering Student now. :P
