Is this the most overrated fighting game of all time?

I see many people shilling for this game like it's gonna revolutionize the fighting genre.
And all I'm thinking is "are you crazy?".
First of all, it doesn't revolutionize a single thing. Even it's character creation tool is nothing special. 5 year old Soul Calibur 6 had a superior character creation tool. You could create anyone there.

I enjoy the gameplay somewhat but it's just sfv but with few new mechanics (and removal of previous mechanics) and a different visual style.

But the visuals and graphics are underwhelming to say the least.

Bad textures, awful hair textures, backgrounds look like cheap wallpapers, terrible scattering in motion, etc.

Some female faces are uncanny valley material in a lot of animations. Like Cammy, Juri, Manon and especially Kimberly. Take the animation of FGE for example and look at Juri's face or her face during her win pose.

Juri is also supposed to be the feet girl but she has the ugliest feet I ever seen in a video game. Crusty and rugged, like she is an 80 year old grandma that never takes care of her feet. This is just a side note, because I see cringe fans simping for these ugly ass feet.

Cammy's face is dismorphed (her ingame face looks like she takes weekly dose of botox) and it looks like her hair is about to fall off. Is she balding?

RE engine has the same problem it always had with sf, the bone structures are rugged and defined. Which is a problem when making female models because it’s supposed to be softer. But in this game this flaw comes into full display, considering the new visual style.

World tour and hub are even on ps3 games graphics level sometimes.

You can't even make the excuse for Capcom to being limited by previous gen.

MK11 is also on previous gen and looks miles better, while being 4 years older on top of that.

By the way, the jumping animation in sf6 looks like the characters have a jetpack. They don't jump naturally.
MK11 was criticized a lot for it but when it comes to sf6 people ignore it?

The single player content is a joke. Why would anyone want to play as some sidekick, fighting some random npcs while spamming few moves? All with ps3 level of graphics?

They couldn't even bother to make a separate story mode for the sf characters.
I mentioned Soul Calibur 6 before and it beats sf6 here too. They have 2 story modes. One for the character you create and the other for it's characters.

The game also doesn't get much hype as the fanboys try to indicate. Free open beta peaked at 32k. Which is nothing. Even Multiversus had 150k at it's free open beta.
You need to realize that the final product which costs at least 60$ will have much less than that. At least x3 less the amount. I can see this game hover around 4-5k players at best in few months on steam.
The demo numbers are extremely pathetic on top of that. Which further proves my point.

Even if we take youtube numbers. Most viewed sf6 video has only 1.5 mil views. In a year. This is nothing.
For comparison Tekken 8 has 4.6 mil views on it's most viewed video. In 8 months.

And MK1 got 5 mil views. In 8 days. Yeah, 8 days.
Sf6 has way less hype.

You have anti-aliasing turned off. That's why there are a lot of jagged textures. I did not have those issues, because I'm running on hardware that can handle the game.

Did you miss the first sentence? 2k res ALL ULTRA SETTINGS. Including anti-aliasing.
Without anti-aliasing the jaggies are way worse than this.

I don't believe you, since I ran the game at 2K as well. I hope Bandai is paying you to work this hard to talk trash about SF6.

I tested in 4k as well and it doesn't look much better. Especially the Jamie sign. The textures are awful no matter what you do.
Show me 4k screenshots in exact same places of my screenshots. Or any screenshots in the battle hub.

Only game I can remember coming close is injustice 2 with its gear grind, challenges, guilds, and cooperative guild raids on content. For a competitor yeah I see there isn't much outside of netcode, two types of lobbies, and make your own tourney in game which Tekken 7 had so it's a nice borrowed feature.

MK11 has way more content.
SF6 doesn't have much content actually. The world tour mode is a joke. Some sidekick playtime without a proper story.

Do expand upon this, what does MK11 have for casuals and competitive players?
Two story modes, challenge towers, Krypt? I could have swore injustice 2 had more.

You can't simultaneously claim something is overrated while also saying it's not getting attention. It would be overrated if it was terrible and everyone was hyped about it, and the only thing you're really complaining about is the graphics which is the least important aspect

I agree on some of the topics covered here. The game's graphics are not ugly, if you set the options all at maximum and video at 4k, but in 1080p you already see a big difference. The guy who compared the world tour with GTA simply proved how mediocre and desperate this game mode was created just to include Woke and politically correct to "Pass the message". The game is not bad in versus and ranked mode where you play with the Street Fighters characters and do the competitive, I had fun with it, but everything beyond that is shameful. Battle hub and World Tour in addition to the game's musics are horrible and were only created for woke doctrine.
In the video I posted about the game's animations, an animator evaluated the animation work and demonstrably the animations left a lot to be desired. SF6 is just an average game, 5/5 in my opinion, and not worth what they're asking. I won't even comment on selling characters that are already in the game as DLC (Rashid, Akuma, etc..)
