Will this game have any rock/metal? All I hear is RAP
This game is clearly inspired by the 90s Streets art movement but it wasn't all about hip-hop, a lot of punk, metal, and hardrock was present too. So I just wanna know

I have tickets to see Sparks in June.

From what we've seen, seems like they are channeling the hiphop style from SF3: 3rd Strike, so not sure! I love metal, hate rap, but I actually don't mind the music in SF6 at all. What I've heard so far is really good.

yes turn the music volume down Put on some thundering satanic black metal Insert Dissection, Dimmu borgir, Belphegor Ect ... Problem solved

Not from what we've seen, which is kinda disappointing. The music is the only thing I don't like about the game right now. I've seen people that like the music, but I haven't seen anyone that really loves the music. I find it all rather bland.

After giving a listen, I think we all know that most of these songs can be used as backdrops for rap songs.

"Mr. Sandman" by the Chordettes and "I Ran" by the Seagulls were used as backrops for rap songs lol. There's nothing that can't be used as a backdrop for a rap song. There is, however, a criteria that qualifies a song as rap.

This is true! And so are most of the songs that we are finding in SF6. Nothing wrong with it, just acknowledging what's there.

Out of the 55 track OST, only 4 songs there were rap. I didn't mention those specific titles (nor the hip-hop tracks) due to OP asking for songs that weren't.

That would be sick. I really like the tracks they used for the versus character select themes nonetheless. I think they really fit the aesthetic of the game.

Not rock, but you can listen to Lil Wayner hip hop music while enjoying the world tour mode and Battle Hub, where in addition to having fun playing, you will have the opportunity to learn free lessons about political correctness and woke. And best of all, without paying DLC for it. bIG dEAL isnt?

I'm not saying they are all rap. I'm saying they can definitely be perceived as such, since they sound so similar to what is commonly used in the genre. "If it walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck, it must be a duck." As the saying goes.

Ah, I interpreted the post to be asking which songs don't qualify as hip-hop or rap. Didn't really consider whether the perception of a track could be feasibly used as a rap song element. My bad.

It's all good, I wasn't being as clear as I could either. Honestly, it annoys me as well, since there are so many specific genres/sub-genres in music. Some necessary, others no lol. But, since rap pulls from so much EDM tracks, I guess it's easy for folks to misinterpret.

If by having Hip Hop I can make my homies play this, I'm ok with this tbh
