In WT mode you'll sometimes see your opponent turn white briefly, hit them during this for not only a counter but will stun them also if i remember rightly
Ah right, I wasn't completely sure about that one, played a bit of the WT mode but only came across it a couple of times. Seem to remember catching them while white and it bounced them off the wall and stunned them. I'm guessing the wall splat is if counter hit and no wall splat if not?
I hope I can get this right, as I'm missing out on some neat cosmetics
That makes sense
A Punish Counter is when you hit someone in their recovery frames of a move. This does the same bonus damage and extra hitstun, but also eats a bar of their Drive Gauge. Depending on the move you hit them with, you might get different effects as well. For example, Zangief's forward HK normally just knock them down, but if you get a Punish Counter, it bounces them off the floor making a follow up combo possible.
In practice Punish Counters are the same as Crush Counters from SF5.
Marisa's is called scutum, which appropriately is a Roman shield.
