Yellow Card Duration?

Does anyone have an kind of idea how long these cards last? I'm new to fighting games and imma be honest I did leave 3 or 4 of my online matches in Fighting Ground (It was all casual btw) but it was like day 2 or so of playing and learning. Now i'm pretty much spending my entire morning/afternoon playing a waiting sim

All i can say is i got my yellow card on the 4th and its went away a few days ago. I think it will remove (in my experience) after x number of days played, without any disconnects in ranked and casual. It doesn't seem to work in the battle hub, since i probably played around 50 matches and still had a yellow card then.

I just got a communication error in the middle of my match so now it thinks I left lol. I had zero communication errors in beta now I get dropped out of matchmaking all the time
I get disconnected randomly with communication errors but it aint my internet its hard wired/fast..... So no clue what it is, but it marks me as leaving now

wierd i played mostly casual and got my card removed in two days. so no idea how it works
does capcom have a explanation anyway? prob not maybe they dont want poeple abusing how it works

It was true for my friend, he was queued for 5 minutes before he could find a match, and it was a low connection yellow card.

it might try and q against yellow cards first but i for sure played against peopel without a card, in casual that is , cant speak for ranked

My friend got a yellow card too, he thought quitting the game was like 'resigning in chess' , but it's been like 3 days and he's still playing a waitin sim.
Like 10 minutes to find matches, and when he does it is laggy as hell, people whith ♥♥♥♥ connection and far away countries.
I think this is too harsh, maybe give a warning first? This could def drive some players away

I got my card cause of the stupid servers DC'ing me during matches... I'm still pissed about it too cause I was trying to play with my friends and logged out after another DC to check my game files only to learn I got "restricted" and yellow carded. Almost makes me not want to log back in cause of this sht.

you actually also get stuck only matching with other yellow cards. and theres a red card too, which i think locks you out of mach making altogether for a while

If you ragequit enough times you get a yellow card on your player name, which lets people know you're a ragequitter and you can only play with other yellow cards in ranked or casual matches until you play some matches without ragequitting. I don't know the exact duration/amount of matches you need to play.

at what point does it count as rage quiting? Like I have a habit of getting mad, and as soon as the match ends and opponent gets his nice little winning animation, I just exit application without selecting quit. Idk if that gives me yellow card too

Not sure... But, I've seen it pop up for 2~3 games. However, what I think it actually does is match people with poorer connections types. So, I'm guessing that it's some stealth penalty system that Crapcom have imposed for games that disconnect a few times prior to match completion.

What they should have done is force best-of-three matches, and then, and only then, award points. That way, people wouldn't be so likely to D/C after a single loss or if a match is going their way. I've found most will D/C if they lose the first match and are not winning the first round of the re-match -- if they re-match at all after a loss, that is (they usually don't).

As it stands, to get a full, three-set match, most of the time, one has to play poorly and lose or almost lose in the first match. For if one dominate, the chance of a re-match and/or the match not being disconnected mid--round, is very low.

I have 1200 matches played in this dumbass game. Even got to Masters rank. Last games I started having connection errors mid game. I never ragequit. I didn't know I was yellow carded I waited 90 minutes to find a match. I was doing other stuff at the time so I didn't really care and found 0 matches. I only found 1 match today and it was a gold player. 3 rank difference....

Honestly Capcom can really screw themselves with this stupid penalty. I am not going to wait 2 hours everyday for 30 days straight just to find a single game. I am just going to quit. Wish I never spent 60 hours on this dumbass game.

This idea even sounded decent when I first heard it. But what the hell are these queue times? Just make these players get 0 points from ranked or something like that. You are straight up banning them from playing the game. No person with functioning dopamine receptors and actual responsiblities is going to wait 2 hours just to find a single game. Not to mention you need to play around 30. And if you disconnect by accident / internet again, you can never play again.

i got yellow card right now. I was on battle hub, i loose two matches. i won the next one.
Got matchmaking error when i was waiting for the rematch.
After that i tried an other server on battle hub, same things "matchmaking error..." i was thinking about servers issues. Now i can see a yellow card, i did nothing wrong and i can't play... i have to wait 20min to find a game against yellow card...
