Dictator M.Bison

Dictator is about the only character I ever play in Street Fighter. He was the reason I got into the series way back in Street Fighter 2 Championship Edition. Does anyone know if there are plans to make him DLC in the future? Also, I hear you can create and dress your on fighter. Is there a set of items to make a toon that looks like a Fascist general like M.Bison? I just can't bring myself to buy the game until something like this is available. Might be weird to some of you, but that's just how I am.

No plans that we know of the bring Bison to the game. I doubt he'll show up any time soon via DLC either. I feel like if he were to be DLC it would be Season 4 at the earliest.

They seem to be moving away from Bison being a thing or the big bad of SF which is why I don't think we'll see him for a while if they do decide to bring him back.

There also isn't any Bison gear in World Tour mode as far as I'm aware either. It could be DLC at some point but you still wouldn't have his moveset.

i've been a bison main my whole life. he's not in this but honda and blanka are good in this.

So far I remember it was mentioned in the World Tour by multiple characters that he is dead.

He's 100% back, both Vega's and Bison's signatures are on the SF6 mural so he's in regardless of what name you use for him

sf4 was like a ssf2t revival. the roster was the greatest of all time. sf2 and alpha characters are the best hands down. new chars are the worst. sf3 chars are decent. sf4 new chars suck. sf5 new chars suck. sf6 new chars are ok at best. and only because lily is thawk and kim is guy.

Bison is a body hopping ghost, Cammy and the Dolls were made to be spare bodies for him since his first body wasnt able to handle the Psycho power without it killing him. So he can and likely will come back, he just needs a body to inhabit.

Havent played rest of street fighters after Ultra Street Fighter IV. The only reason im playing the 6 is for the custom moves. Latest fighting was some niche MMA where you make your own charachter and enroll in mma academies around world, practicing different things as russian sambo,

bison will be in the game probably sooner than later. I see nothing that implies he would be gone for very long. hes too important for the street fighter mojo

He's not in the first season of DLC which won't finish releasing till next year. It's not likely that he'll appear in Season 2 which will also release over the course of a year so that means at the earliest you wouldn't see him added to the game until 2025-2026.

He's supposed to be dead after SF5. Not that being dead is going to stop them from putting him in the game if they want to use him.

I'm with OP on the lack of the Dictator being a bit of a disappointment. However, there are a few answers I got that the OP might want to know, or find interesting.

1. There is a fighter that utilizes Psycho Power, and in World Tour your own Avatar can learn those moves. The negative side to this, is that all those powers get executed with a walking cane, because the original character using them has one.

2. While there are no clothes to re-create Bisons unique look, one can create something in the same kind of style, by utilizing clothing items found or bought with ingame currency, earned by playing the game. No real dollar was spent on getting this look:

And yes, ALL of these can be colored red in the game as well, mine just happens to be black.

The items in question are:

Officers Cap
Long Leather Coat
Investment Vest
Leather Pants
Riding Boots
Leather Gloves

Mind you, though, many of these clothing items are available only late in the story, so it's gonna be a while for your dictator in training to achieve his well-earned uniform. =)

3. The Dictator Bison IS mentioned in World Tour mode, also the fate that has supposedly befallen him. It leaves what really happened unclear, so the road is absolutely there to possibly bring him as story DLC later. That bridge got definitely built, question is if it will ever be used.

The is good to know. I might wait till there are a few DLCs before buying. Looks like there is almost enough there to make my own dictator.
