Really? i mastered ryu and did not get it in any of it was it on the first ones?

You have to keep fighting him. The reward tables are random. When you're in a match with him pause the game. See if he has the reward you want. If he doesn't lose to him and retry the fight until he does have the reward you want. If you defeat him you have to wait a certain amount of time before you're able to fight him again.

What triggers the ability to spar with him? My bond is 100/100 and hes level 19. I finally got the top.

At level 20, will he spar whenever I want?

-Confirmed yes he spars whenever you talk to him 20 and above

I've fought him several times, he's level 70 now- haven't seen the pants as a potential drop once.
