Denuvo causing performance issues?
I'm having trouble getting SF6 to perform. I'm on all minimum settings (rendering at 1, anti-aliasing etc etc off) and still barely hitting 45 FPS in game with frequent drops below 30, especially in world tour and CPU vs matches. Most single-player fights seem to have the game running in slow motion.

If it helps, I currently also play Guilty Gear Strive and Destiny 2 with high graphics settings and little issues. I also did not have any issues with SF5 in my time trying it.

I have 16 GB of RAM, an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 six-core processor, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. I can't seem to figure out what's causing the game to be unable to function, but heard Denuvo is in this game. Is anyone else having performance issues like this?

We won't have any fixes until someone cracks it, then people realize "Oh, it's the same ♥♥♥♥, huh" because that's a problem inside the game that exists since 29th May, when the Benchmark build released. All because the people wanna go "But DENUVOOOO" instead of reporting about this stupid bug.

I remember MHW having some pretty bad issues for me that got better after the denuvo patch, so IDK, i was just asking if this was something similar. I guess that a lot of people are asking and it has people angry?

Removing Denuvo isn't going to suddenly fix all the performance problems. I imagine it will increase performance for some but it will not totally solve the problems.

A number of people have been saying it's most likely due to a memory leak. If that's the case then removing Denuvo won't fix that issue. You'll probably get some stuff running better but that memory leak will still be a problem unless Capcom addresses it too.

No one here appears angry. Do you think anyone explaining something is angry? What a weird take.

"maybe, just maybe," "blame the boogeyman" "are you dense" "holy ♥♥♥♥ how many times does it take" i dont know, i dont go on steam discussions very often. i just did this time because my googling just said reduce internal resolution and turn off vsync and all that.

i might just be new and not used to how people normally talk here, i just understand that kind of stuff to come off as angry.

Anyways, I just tested again after shader warm-ups and so far VS and practice I'm getting much more consistent performance and could even up a few of my resolution settings. I'll have to see if World Tour works now because that's where I was getting the worst of it. Thank you!

That doesn't matter, anytime someone has an outdated computer, shaders not compiling, or they set a game to max settings even though their PC can't handle it, it's always denuvos faults.

and then when you point this out, and they have no arguments?

wHy yOu DeFenDiNg dEnUvO!????

It runs smooth on a 1660 Super even though Capcom know what they did

Tried the world tour mode, had to drop it to resolution 1 again but now I'm only having brief spats of 45 frames at the end of fights.

You know in hindsight maybe putting denuvo in the title was a bad idea
I feel like some of the replies read the title and already started their reply

You had to learn the hard way sorry

You're below minimum specs?

Don't use World Tour as a bench. But arcade is 60 FPS on Steam Deck.

i dunno, minimum requirement is a 1060, which is around 40% stronger than the 1050 ti so maybe, just maybe, it's your specs and not denuvo
i have a 1050ti and the beta as well as the demo ran well with no problems. maybe it's denuvo maybe it's something else, but a 1050ti CAN run the game at high settings at 1080p.
My specs are:
Intel i5 3330
gtx 1050ti 4gb
8gb of ram
Also, this may be stupid, but i see some people having massive stutters with mechanical drives, so that may also be part of it. i ran both the demo and beta on a sata3 ssd and no issues

Steam Deck is currently broken in "pure" offline mode (no internet connection).
It works okay in offline mode WITH internet, and in regular online mode.
Something is trying to poll something and timing out every 30 seconds.

In windows, with no internet connection, there is no problem (tested on the Deck with a different SSD).

The only one acting angry here so far is you and it seems to stem from your state of total confusion. You lash out in anger while pretending everyone else is angry despite this being a relatively civil conversation.

Well, this thread is pretty pointless now that people know the reason. (And it's not Denuvo)

I have an nvidia Gforce GTX 1660 Ti
16 GB of ram
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU
I run the beta with no problem but now I´m on lowest setting and still the game has some framedrops, any Idea how to fix it. The benchmark showed me that I could run on High setting with no problem.
