I have heard about those games. Might try them down the road. Thanks for the idea.
It is not the best, but I wouldn't call it awful. Awful would be WWE 2K20's story mode (when it is not crashing).
Well, you have a right to your opinion because not everyone enjoys everything. Some people like some things or others, and World Tour has a number of things that could have been done better. But I do still like it, even with the lacking feeling.
Obviously I'd love more content too but come on, for a fighting game that's incredible! World Tour is by far the best thing about the game so far. Getting to know the iconic characters was fun, the story was fun, exploring was fun. I want this to become an entirely new genre tbh!
Imagine WT and the same fighting game mechanics and depth, and this character customization and all, but with multiplayer where you meet other players and make friends, do spontaneous duels, or even group up to go take down tough challenges together!
I did not say it was bad. Still, I do feel like it is a little hollow in some areas. But there are worse game stories out there.
Though, I have no idea how it took you 40 hours to beat it. Unless it was that one side quest where you have to find some items for someone (and the items just don't want to drop) that took most of your time.
Still, it is a good mode (all in all) and I hope it is added to (this game) and kept around for the next game (whenever that comes out).
I really wish you could just do it all over. Either another save with all the stuff unlocked you go in your first game, or just a ng+ mode. I didn't expect WT to be the most fun I've had in a game in a few years probably. But there's no way I'm losing all my progress just to do it again.
Yeah, the lack of a proper redo outside of a hard restart is one thing that really annoys me.
It's definitely frustrating trying to do some of those objectives against low level enemies once you're leveled up. There are some consumable items that can make you weaker but even those might not be enough.
The only other thing I could think of would be to use a trainer and set both your Health and the AI Health to infinite and then beat on them until you accomplish the objective at which point you can turn off the cheats.
I'm not wanting a million side quests. I just wanted a little more (main game) than what we got and more stuff to put on my custom. It could also help to have some people to fight who are level 70 as it is a nightmare to get to level 80 to fight some fighters who are level 80-85.
