WTF IS BORIS GAGARIN (World Tour)

KEEP IN MIND: This is my first Street Fighter as I never really attempted to play any of the previous editions.
WHAT the ♥♥♥♥ is Boris Gagarin in the tournament, is there anyway to combat his continously INSTANT grabs. I tried counter grabbing and it wont do ♥♥♥♥.

Not to mention, why are some enemies that are AT MY LEVEL, doing HALF of my HP thanks to one attack.
Is this normal?

Sort of, best thing you can do is grind up your levels a bit and enhance your equipment. As for grabs the best way to deal with it is neutral jump, j.HK and combo > knockdown. That's how I did it playing with juri. The a.i. get's way too predictable when they're doing command grabs so really pay attention to a pattern. Sometimes you can cheese when they roll out of the corner. Standing.HP usually will give you a punish counter after the roll. Honestly I had to do the tournament like 10 levels under it was a horrible experience, so grind a bit and it'll save your sanity.

World Tour is an RPG mode chief, that means grind grind grind and improve those stats and/or find exploits in the AI to abuse

Use consumables. There are 2 different buffs you can have. One is from eating a meal either at a vendor or by ordering it on your device, the other buff you activate manually in combat. Helps tremendously.
