It's seems to be a taboo. I notice SF specialists seems to ignore this, except Valmaster.
TBH I didn't play SF5 that much(50hr). Barely a FG player here. But I really don't remember enjoying Chun in SF5, she really wasn't my character. in SF6 I really like her and I think she is my main now
Which is a good thing for me but kinda indicates she prolly got changed quite a bit and now people who don't like her(me) might start liking her while her old fans might not be as big of a fan of her new style.
I could spend months learning her and getting halfway okay with her...Or I could stick with Luke and Marisa who play so much more smoothly.
But her fireballs suck. They not as good as Guille's so it makes no sense to make them work in a similar manner (charged).
Stance also makes it so your charge specials aren't charge inputs anymore.
Imo it takes way more effort to be efficient with Chun than most characters. Nontheless, I am sticking with her for now.
Half of her kit is gone.
Including her entire stance.
Never been much of a console gamer so I'm not comfortable with controllers
I feel like Modern was meant for controllers cuz it felt kinda off when I tried on Keyboard
I will give another tries with her, and more practicing the Drive gameplay which is very interesting.
Her gameplay is now more Kung Fu axed. That's what is different and destabilizing. With a dominant for the kick (except grat HP and aerial Kikosho) : the stand HK move forward Chun Li, the forward HK is nice, great Tenshu kick (a kind of kick shoryuken) ; crouch medium kick to open combo...
Her aerial game seems also great and I like by the way the spinning bird kick EX FX.
The driving rush open new interessant hits.
After cold sweat, I will keep her and don't care if she looks not so trong as blanka or marisa.
JP seems really interessant too.
