If you're having trouble with the difficulty spike and just want to progress pick Deejay and you can spam his Double Light punch to Double Medium kick and AI won't be able to break out for majority of it.. You can also spam the grabs but that is a bit more risky in some cases.

What I did was get them in the corner and spam cr.LP(x3) > DP then just mash it again they either get hit or block. If they block all 3 of the cr.LP I go into MK to a knockdown. Cheesed my way through the whole last tournament ♥♥♥♥ except for that one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the unblockable super. Anyways good luck everyone.

Really wished they made it so command inputs don't overlap. Can't even fully immerse your character in a full fighting style which sucks. On Classic anyways, I've seen a comment saying Modern doesn't have this issue.

I would love to have fun but some of these bosses are just too OP.. The normal mobs I can deal with but like the bosses just hit like mac trucks no matter what you hit them with. I was just like you know what, "Screw it" if they can cheese me I can do it back lmao.
