I want my money back

I made a mistake. I bought the ultimate edition only to realize that all of the DLC and extra stuff is not even in the game yet. I basically just gave Capcom and extra $40.00 up front for empty promises. *Edit* - I retract my comment about empty promises.

I also fell victim to the hype and I played this in excess of two hours. Now, Valve won't honor my refund request.

I might be in the wrong, but I still want my money back. Somewhere on Steam, there is an indie or adults only game that no one plays that can benefit from the money I wasted on the ultimate edition.

If you're under the 2 hours for refunds, you should be fine. And wow, I had no idea about that! Thanks for sharing. When they remove Denuvo, I'll be getting the base game, for sure. Ignore the toxic cry-babies, they're just trying to start issues that don't exist.

I opened several tickets. They were all denied. Now, I'm complaining openly and expressing my frustration.

Why empty promise? They didn't cancel any season pass in SF5, so there is no precedence that they will pull out.

But well, sucks to be you I guess, being not familiar with the usual routine of season passes

You know what? You are absolutely correct. Capcom has an excellent reputation for following through - particularly with Street Fighter. That part of my original comment is should be stricken out. I will try to do this now.

I mean, I can understand why you would think that you get +4 characters. It doesn't explicitly say that it is part of the season pass in the shop site but just slightly imply it.

To be honest with you, I don't read. I knew I was getting the character pass and that made sense. I knew those characters are yet to be released and will come over time in the future. However, what I didn't know is that none of the current roster characters have different outfits as part of the Ultimate Edition. I basically have to grind my ass off in World Tour to get a new look. And, the 7,700 drive tickets basically gave me enough currency to buy a headband for my avatar. Outside of this, I don't think I actually got any additional content. I just basically gave Capcom more money than I had to give them right now.

But, to your previous point, I can at least trust that they will deliver at some point in the future. Plus, Valve denied my refund request again so I'm stuck with this now.

It's a great game though just play it and learn it and you'll get your money's worth out of it. Just chill.

Isn't the denied refund because you got ingame currency (drive tickets) that's sitting in your sf6 account now (not on your steam account like dlc is), leading to steam unable to let you refund the ultimate & deluxe packages.

Are you trying to refund the entire game or just the Ultimate Edition content? Steam is usually pretty good about things like this, even past the 2 hour limit.

It was the entire game. But, it got denied. I'll just play it until I find something I like about it.
