Impossible to link capcom id

i linked my capcom id but SF6 wouldn't acknowledge it when i pressed to log in, simply looped me back. So i deleted that capcom account and made another, but the new one won't link because my steam account is apparently still linked to the deleted account.

Will refund game if i can't solve this bs

Try to contact Capcom support, they might be able to unlink it for you. Even if the account is gone there might be a trace of it in their servers, that's why maybe steam sees it as still linked, just my two cents. but definitely try to contact them about it.

You need to contact support if you do this, you can't re-link.

Yes, i finally managed to get it to work after a long back and forth with Capcom Support, my solution, oddly enough, was to use the japanese version of the Capcom site to link my steam rather than the english.
