Can't connect my stick

all in the title. my fight stick should be recognise as a Xbox controller, it work normally on all other steam game, no way to make it work, actually none of my controller work in this game and their is no option relating to which controller do what in game.

Am I the only one with this issue ?

Check the options. There's a keyboard standalone option (On/Off) that will lock out all controls other than keyboard.

It's off by default, the issue is somewhere else

thanks for the suggestion but didn't work. Controller works perfect with other games just seems to be this one, I've checked the community hub seems to be quite a few people with same issue

What OS are you running?

Also on Steam click the Steam menu (upper left corner of the Steam window) and select settings. Once there, click on Controller then click "General Controller Settings" what checkboxes are on?

Can you confirm the make and model of your fightstick?

i had issue with my qanba Q4.
Need to be setuped within Bigpicture.

Go Big picture - press "back" to open side menu.
Go Settings - Controller - select your Stick - Test Device Input - Begin Setup - here i had to reconfig the Stick to match buttons/joystick. After that it worked ingame for me.
