It's likely the game will be operational outside of Steam, especially if purchased from a different place.
It's NOT always the case that just because a game is purchased on Steam ,that it REQUIRES Steam to be running.
Take Elder Scrolls 3 for example or Max Payne, I can run these games without Steam running, plus there are often .exe cracks to avoid such situations if you want to go that route.
Are you new to PC gaming or something little guy?
That is unrelated to this topic thanks.
Don't worry about the sheep who parrot the corporate FUD about computer security. If the new Windows is so secure, why are they so worried about what other people are doing?
much more likely steam drops win 7 pretty soon as well

“If you continue to use Windows 7 after support has ended, your PC will still work, but it will become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses because you will no longer receive software updates, including security updates, from Microsoft.Oct 13, 2022
Put simply, if a new security vulnerability or software bug is uncovered in Windows 7, Microsoft is no longer obliged to release any sort of patch to fix the issue on the unsupported operating system; and that's something that could put individuals and organisations that still rely on Windows 7 in danger from cyberattacks, hacking and malware.
October 14, 2025
Windows 10 will reach end of support on October 14, 2025. The current version, 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10, and all editions will remain in support with monthly security update releases through that date.
What a dumb question you think Im asking capcom to make one? LOL damm dude.
You def gonna get a jester award for that one.
