Slow motion issue
Hi !

I think a lot of us have this problem with the game running in slow motion.
I now have all the settings in ultra low and the problem is still the same, even on the training stage in training mode.
Weird, because the demo and the beta were running very smoothly on my computer, and i previously played games like Resident Evil 7, RE2R, RE3R, Sekiro in normal/high without good FPS. Now SF6 is in ultra low, looks absolutely horrible, and still can't run well.
My hardware : GTX 1070, 16 GO RAM, i7 8750H, 144hz screen.
Did any of you found solutions to this ?

slow motion in World Tour ?
try this
Options > Graphics > Basic Settings > Limit World Tour Battles to 30 FPS: On.

Anyone has solution for this Slow Motion/Lagging issue? The only "Fighting Ground: ranked casual, create room, training , combo trial, that I don't have the slow mo/lagging. The rest has the slow mo/lagging issues. This is so bizarre, the graphic setting only work about 25% in the SF6 PC. The 75% is unplayable.
Please post or reply in here if anyone know to fix this. Thank you.

As expected, they rejected my refund, so no other option than looking for a solution.

Funny enough about the slow motion... in my case, the FPS counter doesn't go down... usually it goes from 45 to 60 fps, and when it goes into slow motion it "just go into slow motion", FPS doesn't drop.

I also have this slow problem in VS mode specially when the map is Jungle. And huge FPS drop in hub. I'm using i5 7600k 32gb ram, RTX 3060, 1tb SSD. Capcom fix this problem please. its very unpleasant experience

This is some weird thing where in World Tour mode it tries to compensate for stuff happening in the background and the characters you are fighting. It's really dumb. If you set the option 30fps in World Tour mode it sets it to the regular turbo mode we are used to in modern Street Fighter. 30 fps but not floaty. For some systems when it goes above 40fps it activates the old school floaty physics out of paranoia of not having a steady 60. It's a really stupid thing they implemented that I hope someone figures out how to mod out. It's not a performance thing fully. The engine makes a choice to change the physics.

Try changing the Shader to "LOW" in graphics setting, let me know if this helps.

But you people are suffering of low FPS or just a slow motion mode??

Because, i feel not everyone is speaking of the same. I don't suffer low FPS in World Tour, they are around 60. But it goes to a kind of slow motion game when fighting... with 60 fps.

you could try changing your monitor's hz to 60 on try to toggle the low latency settings both ways.

I have these problems only on the Blanka-Brazil map, and it's only on the character presentation. and sometimes on the world tour, everything else runs smoothly on max

saw this on twitter https://twitter.com/Punisherx6/status/1669237484948008962
fixes random fps drops and lag for some people

I get it in this game but also in Wo Long if I try playing it without a locked 60fps. So that's at least two games in 2023 that have this weird issue.

Same here. Slow motion during fighting in World Tour. Pre-compiled shaders, tried it with everything on the lowest settings, but the slow-motion stays. I don't even have bad fps. They're around 70-80, but the game is in slow motion still. It has probably something to do with physics objects, because in cluttered areas around Chun-Li for example, the game crawls to almost a halt slow-motion wise, but I still have 60+ fps.

I feel like there are a lot of people that don't understand what's going on here trying to solve the problem lol. It's a strange creative decision for the team to have not the framerate drop, but to enable floaty physics when the engine is paranoid it's not going to have a consistent framerate in world tour specifically. It seems to happen more when there is more going on in the world behind it because it's still rendering that world and all the NPCs and vehicles in real-time and in order to do that, it again is not dropping the frame rate, but changing the physics entirely. It's not a monitor thing or anything. I feel like the beefier someone's PC is it might be able to render that background better this never needing to enable floaty physics.

The answer to this issue is turning off ambient occlusion and screen reflection. For some reason those settings are hyper greedy and drop framerate a lot.

You can put the game at max settings just turn off ambient occlusion and screen reflections.
