Arcade stick not working on steam deck
Hello, I've been playing SF6 on steam deck and the only issue I've come across is that my arcade stick will not work in matches. It works just fine in the menus, but once it goes into a match, none of the buttons will do anything. Anyone else have this issue? The stick I'm using is a qanba obsidian, but with a Brook universal board inside.

I think the game might be reading the Steam Deck's controller as P1 and your arcade stick as P2 and so it's not picking up your inputs. I'd try testing the controller on the SD when you get in a match, just to diagnose the issue. If it is the problem, look around in the settings to set your fightstick as P1.

Hope this helps!

I use a PS4 Qanba Pearl, and with Steam input enabled it's flawless. Do you have steam input enabled?

The game does some really weird controller priorities. It picks a primary for fighting and the rest of the connected controllers are deemed secondary. I haven't found the trick yet, but I noticed this when I connected a game pad to use for World Tour. Game Pad works in the overworld, but I have to use my HitBox for the actual fights as the game will ignore my pad inputs during the fight.

EDIT: My HitBox is actually using the Brook UFB that you have.

Had this problem, fix was to go in to steam overlay, controller settings and reorder the stick as controller 1

Sorry for the late response, I'm on a trip. I found out that my stick wasn't being used as player 1. Thanks for all the answers!
